Boo and Candy Corn Girl

Boo!

For this week I managed to get two cards made. Arlana bought Nancy and I each an image from Sassy Cheryl's so that is why I have two cards this week. We just love Sassy Cheryl's images. They are so fun to work with. I love all her detail. Our DT was given three images to create with. All three images are so fun. I just loved this little ghost. It's he just adorable? Hardly the scarey type but that is to my liking! I'm not fond of spiders either but even he looks rather friendly! Don't you think? To accent the image I used the MS bat punch!
As you can guess...Sassy Cheryl's is our sponsor this week at SSW! Cheryl is offering a fabulous prize of a
$5 gift certificate!
So be sure to play along....you may be the lucky winner!
You will love using Arlana's Sweet Sketch 71 this week! It's one of my very favorite sketches!

Candy Corn Girl is my second card this week. I had a blast creating this card. I cut out the candy corns from the background paper and glued them to the purple polka dot paper. I also cut out the wrapped candy to add to the top of my bow. Then I topped things off with the green metal dots...just love using those dots.

Gobble Gobble!!! I know it is only September but Thanksgiving is just around the corner for us here in the US! I will tell you straight up...it is a big work day for Moms!!!! Now I have four children....all grown but not all married. I am looking forward to the day when they will all contribute to the fixins'. Just cooking the turkey would be the easy part for me. But I usually start two or three days ahead by making rolls and pies, cranberry sauce and salads. Well, I have a new double oven this year...so why am I complaining... I have tried to buy rolls and pies but I get all kinds of complaints from my children because the rolls and pies are a tradition...and when you start a tradition you can't change it.... The problem was that... I didn't know it had become a tradition!
