Stanley Scarecrow

Here in the Northwest, Fall is definitely in the air. So today I have a darling scarecrow image called Stanley Scarecrow. He is from Meljen's Designs. Arlana and I came across her images several months ago and fell in love with her designs. My Hay Bales

I found this straw or hay paper in a very old DCWV paper stack. Then I used my Deckle Square Punch and then punched my paper again to make a rectangle.

  1. Hi Judi, I just love your Scarecrow he's lovely. Great choice of papers and yes I noticed your Haybails the other day and thought how cute they were and those Pumpkin brads are wonderful. I know you make Pumpkin Pie in America but do you eat it as a Vegetable like Roasted or Mashed we eat it in New Zealand Roasted and or Mashed it's my favourite vegetable.

  2. How adorable is this! I love Stanley - he looks so happy and you colored him so well. I love your haybales and the pumpkins sitting on them. Too cute! I wish fall was in the air here, I am really going to miss WV this time of year. The warm days, cool nights and brilliant colors... *sigh*

  3. Wow! What a great card for this season, Autumn is here big time too. The leaves are covering the ground and the rain hasn't helped in keeping it pretty. The straw behind the pumpkin brads is just fantastic! Love it all.

  9. You are so right all of her images are adorable. The DT's at Sweet Sketch Wednesday sure have rocked them out! Fall is in my area too and so the colors you chose are perfect and I just love the pumpkin brads looking like they are on hay bales. Love your coloring too! I really enjoyed doing to the sketch this week too.
