Gobble Gobble
Sweet Sketch 69
Sponsor: Sweet 'n Sassy

Gobble Gobble!!! I know it is only September but Thanksgiving is just around the corner for us here in the US! I will tell you straight up...it is a big work day for Moms!!!! Now I have four children....all grown but not all married. I am looking forward to the day when they will all contribute to the fixins'. Just cooking the turkey would be the easy part for me. But I usually start two or three days ahead by making rolls and pies, cranberry sauce and salads. Well, I have a new double oven this year...so why am I complaining... I have tried to buy rolls and pies but I get all kinds of complaints from my children because the rolls and pies are a tradition...and when you start a tradition you can't change it.... The problem was that... I didn't know it had become a tradition!

This little turkey is called Templeton Turkey. He is from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. They are our sponsor this week at SSW! Yes, their images are sweet 'n sassy! So be sure to look around their site. Sweet 'n Sassy is offering a very Sweet 'n Sassy prize of a

  1. Great card Judi, love the flower! I know what you mean about the cooking. I started with my special roast potatoes and stuffing, five years on now and i'm regretting it hugely. LOL!!

  2. Thanksgiving is in less than two weeks here in Canada - we celebrate it WAY sooner than our US friends. So I don`t think you are jumping the gun at all LOL!!!

Looks like a perfect flower to me!! (and just a darling card altogether)!!!!!
