Watermelon ChompSweet Sketch 56
Sweet Sketch Wednesday
Sponsor: Bugaboo Stamps

Isn't this the most adorable watermelon ant you have ever seen? I used my oval nesti and SU Crystal Effects. I wished I had purchased the ant brads at the Scrapbook USA show last Spring when I went with Arlana and Nancy! I looked all over Tacoma for black ants to use where I have the three brads but I finally gave up. Then I thought black ant stickers would have worked. But no luck! Hope you enjoy my summer picnic card!

This week our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps. They are offering a very sweet prize of 7 digis valued at $21. Boy, you could have a lot of fun choosing from Jodie's awesome collection! Go ahead...look around and see all the fun digis you can't do without!

Happy Fourth of July!
Let it Sparkle!!!

Most of you know that I am visiting Arlana this week! We have been busy working on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday schedule for the rest of the year....In all of our fun looking at sponsor sites...we came upon Sassy Cheryl's images! We absolutely love her images! Arlana and I wanted to create a Fourth of July card so we each purchased an image from Sassy Cheryl's. This image is called Patriots Remembered. This morning I couldn't wait for Arlana...(I was hoping she would create a sketch for us to use but she wasn't available)...so I started to create my own sketch. This is what I came up with. I hope you like it!

I have a lot of fun memories of the Fourth of July...From celebrations at the Bountiful city park to Battery Park on the Columbia River to picnics in our own back yard!

Most of all I am thankful for the freedoms that we have in this country....for our forefathers who believed in a God and founded this nation on that principle. I am proud to be an American and put my trust in God! I am grateful for those who have fought for the freedoms of this country and have lost their lives to preserve it! I pray that the rest of us may live well to preserve it also.

Buck A Roo
Sweet Sketch 55
Sweet Sketch Wednesday
Sponsor: Shirley's 2 Girls

I hope you enjoy this baby card. This image is called "Buck a Roo" and can be found at Shirley's 2 Girls. I am running low on baby cards so you will probably be seeing a few more in the weeks to come. Seems like it is always a baby card or a wedding card that I am in need of!

Today we have a fabulous sponsor at Sweet Sketch Wednesday along with this great sketch. Shirley's 2 Girls is our sponsor and is offering a very sweet $10 gift certificate if you are the lucky Weekly Winner. I hope you will take some time and look at Shirley's 2 Girls shop. The images are spectacular and so fun to create with. SSW Design Team has some awesome inspiration...take time to also look at their cards.

Isn't he so sweet! Can't wait to give this card away! No one special at the moment.

I made this card last month while I was visiting Arlana. We found this cute button in her gallon container of buttons. Isn't it perfect! She also gave me the little "Boy" eyelets that I put in the corner. I like brads better for installation. But three out of the four eyelets turned out perfectly so I guess that is pretty good odds!
The ribbon came from my stash and the rhinestones from Arlana's stash!

For the SSW Grand Prize winner and Blast from the Past, please visit SSW!
Now for today's post:
This sweet little image, "Moonbear," can be found at KLM Digi Stamps. I had so much fun creating my card with this image. I decided to use my Nestabilies for part of the sketch instead of for nesting the main image. I also used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot Embossing folder. The Moonbear image is cut out and popped on top of the stars. Then I also popped the Bears's head and arm over the moon.

KLM Digi Stamps is our sponsor this week. They are offering this sweet Crocus Windowbox Set as their prize if you are the weekly winner!
KLM is also offering this freebie to all of our followers.
Be sure to check out Stacy's card on Sweet Sketch Wednesday. It's adorable!
