Old Water Pump
Sweet Sketch 92
This week I created my card with The Old Water Pump image from Digi Doodle Shop. I chose this image because my grandmother did not have inhouse plumbing when I was young but she had an old water pump in her back yard! I remember being so intriqued by it. However, today I am thankful for instant running water that does not have to be heated on a coal stove. Not sure how my grandmother made it through life!
This is my Grandmother's home in the midwest!

Hi Judi, I love this image your card and colours are perfect. Isn't it funny how images bring back childhood memories. Arlana's card does that to me this week. Love the photo of your Grandmothers home it's amazing. Do you ever wonder what she would think of our world today and all of the mod cons we have to play with in our homes and kitchens??? Oh how the world has changed so much.
ReplyDeleteTake care and have a lovely week and weekend.

Funny Judi how you bring up memories of you Grandmother's water pump because I instantly thought of being on my aunt's farm and using her water pump. Mind you, she still had indoor plumbing, but we kids loved the pump to catch a drink while playing outside! Your card is stunning!!! So beautifully colored! I love your blues and greens and that yummy ribbon. Have yourself a wonderful week!
