My Favorite Flower Pots
I do have to say that this "Favorite Flower Pots" image from A Day for Daisies is definitely one of my favorites. At the moment, it is a freebie at A Day for Daisies. I enjoy gardening and watching my flowers grow. However I do have to say that weeding is not one of my favorite things to do. Needless to say, when I saw this image, it got me in the mood for gardening...so what did I do. I started the process of cleaning up my flower beds in January. Usually I don't get started until March but during January we had some incredibly warm and dry days that allowed me to do this.
I hope you enjoy my card. This ribbon was one of the first ribbons I purchased for crafting. It is amazing what I am finding in my craft room. It is velvety and stretchy. I love the white gathers on the edge of the ribbon. I decided to twist it to give my card some dimension. I really like the look it produced! Hope you do too!
This is the sketch we are using this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. I hope you will take a few minutes to play along. This sketch from Sally was quick and easy to create!

Judi, you hit a home run with this card!! It's lovely!!! What gorgeous coloring and I love that ribbon too! I'm jealous you got to get outside, even if it was to clean up the garden! I'm looking forward to warmer days and no more snow!!! Hope to see you often.

I did not get the gardening gene. I love LOOKING at a nice garden but I can kill a garden just by looking at it. Fortunately my hubby is the exact opposite. This card is so lovely. Love those little boots. REALLY cute.
ReplyDeleteI love the great image and your coloring. The ribbon is such a great touch.

Judi, You know how much I love this card. You did a beautiful job coloring it up. I love your ribbon. And, it is the perfect finishing touch to your card. I have been out in my yard all morning cleaning up and trying to get the lawn back in order. I even installed a sprinkler head that I had asked Scott to fix for me weeks ago. Someitmes you just get tirerd of waiting. Hope you have a great weekend.
