Life has been a little busy lately but very enjoyable at the same time. I had a surprise visit to Okinawa to visit my daughter...compliments of her. I loved the extended sunshine and being chauffeured around the island. Upon my return I began helping with our annual Church Festival of the Nativities for Tacoma, Washington. It's a lovely free event for the community...held on the first weekend of December. It is a
One of the nativities created a little bit of nostalgia for me...as this cardstock nativity below was handed out in Primary years ago to every child in the church. My copy lasted until my third child when it was accidentally torn. We have a very talented sister, Helen Christensen, in our church who recreated this on wood for the Festival of the Nativities...making it life size...
It is 8 feet tall and approximately 30 feet wide....a stunning re-creation!
So my mind has been enjoying the beauty of Nativities of all types. This is the reason I chose Sally-Ann's Cute Nativity Set 2 from her shop at Digi Stamp Boutique.
I enjoyed sitting down and relaxing a bit to create this card and reminiscing about the birth of the Savior and the true meaning of Christmas!
I chose to print the image in several sizes to use the sheep as my embellishments. I have popped them in three different heights! Hope you enjoy!

We would love to have you play along at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and show us your creations! Digi Stamp Boutique is our sponsor this week and Sally-Ann is offering a £10 voucher if you are our Grand Prize Winner at SSW2. This is the sketch you should use!
Have a very Merry Christmas! Thanks for stopping by!

The Nativity exhibit sounds wonderful, so many different types. The one in the photo sound so impressive, would love to see it IRL. Your card is super fitting with your post this week. So cute, love the rustic feel with the wood paper and the 3 sheep put a smile on my face. Hugs, Heide
