Wow, I felt so loved this morning when I started receiving email after email from Splitcoast Stampers. I couldn't figure out what was happening! Then I kept reading about being the Featured Stamper but really wasn't sure what that even was. After spending half the afternoon trying to locate the Featured Stamper Forum, I finally found it! I must totally admit that I use Splitcoast Stampers only as an online location to store my cards for easy access and have not spent much time looking around Splitcoast. In the past few months some of my cards have been listed as favorites! I greatly appreciate all of your sweet comments. and will stop by personally to visit each of you. Thanks so much! What a fun way to play along....!!! I will proudly display my new badge! Even as I am writing this more emails are coming in. Again I feel so loved! Thanks for honoring me this week! What fun it is to see your inspiration from my cards!

You are the Best!

The moment I saw the rooster and hen images at ADFD I knew that I wanted to use one of them.  I grew up on a farm and at times had the responsibility of gathering eggs from the hen house.  I enjoyed getting the eggs, that is...until the ROOSTER would start chasing and pecking me to get away from his harem.  Despite his meanness, I always enjoyed his beautiful colors especially the turquoise feathers. I think I will make peace with the family rooster! So in honor of my favorite rooster I decided to create this card! And then I decided to do a second one.  I love the fun sketch that Sally created for us to use at SSW2.  It was quick and easy to put together.
