Sweet Sketch 25
Sweet Sketch Wednesday
Well, it's the day before Thanksgiving. I am busy making rolls and apple pie for our family crowd tomorrow. I will also be preparing the turkey and all the fixin's. I am just recovering from a little surgery I had last weekend to remove a 5 mm kidney stone. I am thankful to have that over with and on my way to a normal life again. Apparently only 20 percent of women develop kidney stones and only 2 percent of kidney stone patients need surgery to remove the kidney stone. I was fortunate enough to fit into both categories! I kept saying that I wanted to check the OPT OUT box for surgery and for passing the stone. Well, enough of that. At least it wasn't life threatening....just very uncomfortable!
So I am thankful for life, good health and my family. Wish all of our family could be here this week to celebrate Thanksgiving but my daughter and husband are in Okinawa and our youngest son is serving a mission in Texas. So it will be a little quiet without them.
This week my card is made for SSW, of course...as I hardly have time to make cards for anyone else other than my sister, Arlana. This week Arlana's sponsor is Inktegrity. Joni has such wonderful sketches. I just loved this little turkey when I saw him and I think he turned out quite cute with his little colored feathers! The rest the SSW Design Team has also used images from Inktegrity...so take a few moments to check out their cards on SSW. Then take some time to create your own card using Sweet Sketch 25 and any image you have and play along at SSW. You may become the lucky Winner of the Week and receive some fun digi images from Joni's store. Why not take a chance?
Thanks for stopping by and for leaving all your comments! Happy Thanksgiving!
