Happy Fourth of July!

I just want to wish everyone a happy and safe Fourth of July! This is another card that I made while I was visiting with Arlana this past week! Arlana purchased this stamp last year but we had never used it! This cute little biker bee reminds me of my kids when they were young. We always had a parade in July on the first day of the County Fair. If you were in the parade you had free admission! It was always a lot of work but the kids always enjoyed it....a full day from 7 a.m. til 9 or 10 p.m.

Arlana created the sketch pieces and then we decided to do whatever we wanted with the pieces. Since I was at Arlana's I decided to try Arlana's signature stitching! I was surprised that I was able to gauge the stitching as well as I did! But I went much slower than Arlana does. When Arlana sews the machine just zooms......After I did my stitching and put the ribbon on, I was trying to decide what I needed to do to add a little pazzazzz. Well, Arlana was already cutting out the embossed stars for her card! I just can't believe how she is always thinking of something new and it's usually right there. But do you think my mind would think of it! So I do not take credit for these stars. Arlana used them in a totally different way....that's her creative mind again.
I really enjoyed using these metal dots. I used them on my last Fourth of July card just two posts back. They are a great $1 find at Joann's but they have been closing them out and I think I purchased all of them!!! But you can find them in a more expensive pack at various craft stores. I used the smallest adhesive dot to adhere them but when I flew home the plane pressure squished all the adhesive out from underneath the dot so I had to do some repair work...so excuse the glue you see!
This Cuttlebug embossing folder adds great texture to your card. I was hoping to find a star folder... more like the little heart folder....but I was pleasantly surprised at the beauty of this embossing star! It will make a great addition to your collection!
Thank, Arlana, for the fun times and laughter we had making our cards!
To Everyone: Have a great Independence weekend and be safe!
