Sweet Sketch 80
Sponsor: Digi Stamp Boutique
Good Morning! It's Sweet Sketch Wednesday again.
And I have choosen this darling image from
Digi Stamp Boutique called "Connie Shopping."
It reminded me of my mother who would, could and did shop 'til she dropped. She could find so many fun treasures...many times under $10. Her children and grandchildren were often the recipients of her great finds! She was nearly 83 when she passed away but she always dressed in style with outfits coordinated from head to toe!
Sure miss her! I had better stop there as I am getting quite teary thinking about her!

ReplyDeletewhat a yummy color mix ~ wuv it ~ just as that darlin lil image! fabulous card chickie!
ReplyDeleteWell Judi that answers that question-I was just thinking how well coordinated your cards are. From the colors to the embellishments to the papers. Everything relates to each other. I think it's from your Mom! Really enjoyed reading your description of her. My grandmother is that way when she goes shopping - even today at age 90! I do love this image and almost selected it this week-we always seem to be on the same wavelength! Love the flower and the ric rac and the edge punch - perfectly coordinated!

Hi Judi, I just love your card has to be my very favourite this week. You've used my colours love it love it. I just love that Fisker Boarder Punch isn't it great? Your card is just magic!!! Perfect!!!! You bought tears to my eyes about your Mum she seemed very much like mine. She always had something for everyone especially me as I was the youngest. If I think of her right now she would be in that kitchen baking for Christmas and it's so hot here and humid.

I wish I looked this put together after shopping, I always look a mess and I am exhausted! LOL! She looks fabulous in her matching outfit. Even her shopping bags match. *Grin* super cute card.
ReplyDeleteI love the green and purple together. Her little outfit is too cute! I understand missing someone so much, especially at the holidays. My husband died last year. Big hugs to you!
